Emily Hebert: Hi! I am Emily Hebert, ELLE.com's Associate Beauty Editor, and today we are scouting the streets of New York to see what people's worst hairstyles have been.
Female Speaker: When I was nine, the absolute worst haircut I ever got was this short, and I ended up with triangle hair. Not good.
Female Speaker: Probably prom. You know everyone does those like cornrows, updews with the curls. I think I put some butterfly cuts in there, I was pretty bad.
Female Speaker: The worst hairstyle I ever had is, I went to get my hair dyed and he left the dye on too long, bleached it, and it fell out, so that's the worst. I got extensions. Yeah.
Female Speaker: It was probably when I was in middle school. My sister decided it would be a good idea to give me a mullet.
Female Speaker: My worst hairstyle was definitely a couple of years ago. It was, I mean awful, I got a perm, and it was poodle, I mean very bad, very bad mistake.
Emily Hebert: What's the worst hairstyle you have ever had?
Female Speaker: My hair used to be shaped like an egg, it was really bad.
Female Speaker: I tried to highlight my own hair with my mom's help when I was in like eight grade, which turned out orange, and was terrible.
Female Speaker: 80s, 80s with the bangs that came this way and then went back that way, and like the five gallons of hair spray, for me I think that had to be the lowest of the lowest.
