As you can see along this curve edge, I run to a problem using my core box pit to remove material on this upper edge as a running the router along this edge. I can only get o far before I just become as an effective and I cannot rally actually remove the material anymore. So, I was saying a few of the other boards |I started to realize how much this things and I need to rely on some free hands goes, and actually clean up this curve just a free hand with a core box pit. So, wish me luck hold your breath this is not for the fine of art see how it goes.
So, that is much better, I got a little bit more here that I get but you get he idea for content enough with your free hands skill you can get away with something like that. If you are not confident, I recommend practicing some in layers for a little while if you do free hand and leg a lot something like this really is not too difficult but that is one solution on how to get that little curve clean up.
There is something I want to share to you guys is the some of the difficulty around into while pulling apart of base whenever you are attacking something like this you got a look for a numerous things not only the original joinery trying to figure out how is actually put together. But also look it some of the home owners intervention and see you know at some point of this was loose somebody probably just throw over the screw through a little bit of extra glue. Hoping that would tight on every up and that is in fact what I found not only was there extra glue around the joint but I found a few screw s that will driven up in an angle to come and give a little bit more support I pull of those out.
And now back to the original joinery that was done when it was made. So, I have little screw cap down here and that was a standard screw inside that hole, inside this larger cut actually thought that this was a interesting dollars or something that one. All the way thru the piece turn as actually is a very meaty hand made screw cap, and inside of that was a leg bull and that is actually holding the support piece on.
The problem that I had with this was as I was sort to trying to loosen the joint I actually split this piece. I just want to show you this because this is something like I can very easily happen and it happens in the refinishing industry all the time. It is just the product of banking parts a part and knocking joints apart. But one of the key things in wood working is not necessarily just have a good of a wood worker you are. It is how will you hide your mistakes.
