Amanda Bergin: Are you spending more and more time at the office? Well, many of us are so. How are you supposed to find the time to stay fit, if you're always working? Well, here, let's look at some exercise equipment that might help you workouts from the comfort of your own workspace.
Let me introduce the walk station, it's a desk attached to a treadmill, now you can work and walk at the same time. At first, it might feel a little bit like rubbing your stomach and padding your head, but the walk station is designed to burn calories and stress while you're typing and talking. It won't help you train for a marathon, but the price alone may make your sweat; it goes for about $4,000.
I feel like I need a cowboy hand spurse for this thing, see what I mean, the iJoy ride is like a mechanical bull for your office, where you're going to get some very strange looks from your coworkers. The energy it takes to stay on this machine as it moves is supposed to strengthen your core, your stomach, your sides and your back without stressing your joints. Four speeds that you're very intensity, but really this is a ride best taken with the office door closed, it is closed, right? The iJoy ride costs just under $500. What's this, a disco ball? No, it's a power ball.
Rotating your wrist keeps the gyro inside the power ball spinning and it really works your hand arm muscles. Here is the really gluey part. The blue yelly delights glow brighter and the faster the gyro spins. The blue power ball gyro sells for $45.95. so, technology makes it possible where it doesn't have to get in the way of working out, but if you get caught in the act, you might have little explaining to do.
