Hi, I am here to give you a few tips on picking the mover. I was a mover one time when I was a kid this is why I am going to give you tips.
Assess the value of your house hold belongings, got to know what everything is worth so that they know what everything is worth. Research different moving companies, this is the next thing you have to do. Best way to do that, especially with the internet, this is great. You look for reviews from previous clients, CA’s and in that way you can narrow it down.
Compare rates, because obviously money is a huge thing, find out what their rates are and when it comes to ensuring your goods from possible damage during the move, because inevitably something is going to happen and if you are insured you get it replaced once there is a problem.
When moving date does come, treat your movers with respect. I could tell you this because I have had both sides. Some people treated me wonderfully other people treat you like dirt, because just because you move furniture around it does not mean you should be spoken down to. Still the golden rule, treat them nice and you will get more out of them.
Also this goes back to the whole, you know, insuring your good thing. Keep a video camera handy just incase—this is for insurance purposes, so in that way, you have proved that something is damaged.
Moving is stressful. It is one of the most stressful things in anyone’s life, but it is an exciting new start.
