Welcome back to the Introduction to Wikipedia Series. As a Wikipedia member, you have the opportunity to create your own profile Wikipedia page just for your username and account. Doing this should help you get used to using Wikipedia correctly. Click on your username and then edit this page.
Now, all you need to do is add information about yourself that you want to share. This means that when someone searches for your username or is it associated with an article and then click on your username, they’ll be brought to this page so I’ll just put down some information about myself then add a link to my website. And will ask add a link to butterscotch; you can use these buttons to help you. That’s all I’m going to add for now, but you can add more.
Creating your username page works just like creating any Wikipedia page so it’s great practice for when you finally want to write your first article on Wikipedia. And here it is. Now, when I click on my username, I’ll see the entry I just created. And this page can be edited by the Wikipedia community just like any other page.
Remember, there are 10 parts to this series, so don’t forget to check out the other episodes in the Introduction to Wikipedia Series.
