Welcome back to the Introduction to Wikipedia Series. The main page on Wikipedia has a lot of information. And also gives you easy ways to navigate through the site. So here, you’ll see a featured article. It changes so it’s always going to have a new bit of information on something you may not have known about. There’s also current news facts, some random ‘did you know’ facts, and even events that took place on this day in history. It’s a fun way to learn something interesting without having to search for anything.
Right now, we’re on the main page but you can skip to Wikipedia contents, featured content, current events, and even skip to random articles.
Back on the main page, you’ll see all of the languages you can choose from. There are quite a few. Wikipedia also has sister project which I won’t go into too much detail about during this series but it’s worth a look. There’s like Wikiquote which is a collection of quotes, Wikinews and Wiktionary which is an online dictionary empty source.
Remember, there are 10 parts to this series, so don’t forget to checkout the other episodes in the Introduction to Wikipedia Series.
