Hi I am Shawn “Bacon and Candy” Mckee. I am with you from the E Diet offices. I am the worst foods editor and today we are bringing you the worst of the worst. We got sugary butterballs from Suzanne. We got a cottage cheese and jelo concoction from Ilene. And, my personal favorite if you like bacon and you like candy you are going to love bacon candy. Every week, in E diet’s worst food newsletter, we feature some of our readers’ favorite worst concoctions. We are going to start out with sugary butterballs From Suzanne R. she would take butter roll it into little balls and then deep it in sugar and she throw them in the freezer and let them firm up and pop them like bon-bon. This was one of here favorites for about 15 years, although she do not eat them anymore. I think my heart just stopped. I am not going to eat that again.
Our next concoction is a cottage cheese and jelo combination sent in from Ilene S. It starts with two scoops of cottage cheese and then, adds your favorite flavor of jelo straight from the box in its powdered form of course. And add some ranch, about a spoonful is probably good and then mix. I taste all of these my self.
And finally, we come to bacon candy. That is right bacon candy. Slice bacon in to half-inch strips and bread in brown sugar until thoroughly coated. Bake it 350-degrees or fry on a griddle until crispy. Drain grease and allow to cool and hardened before serving. This is delicious it is a great combination of the salty fatty bacon with sweet brown sugar coating and it is all put together in crispy little tasty nuggets that really--I am not sure how you can beat this little dish.
Now it is time to rate the plate. Sugary butterballs. I will give that a two, sweet. With jelo cottage concoction, on a scale of 1 to 5 I will give this a negative two. Bacon candy, we give this worst highest rating ever a 163 stars.
