Host: You mentioned me a few times that you heard a unbelievable piece written by Dr. Scott Fox. He is an expert in obesity I believe in the West Medical. What's in all these visuals that he would talk about?
Lori Boxer: He was writing as if he was talking to parents, he was writing and he was saying passionately, would you give your child cancer? Would you knowingly hand your child cancer and of course every parent would actually by horrified by the thought. Then he says would you give your child heart disease? Would you give your child diabetes? Would you hand your child diabetes? And of course no parent would. Then don't give your kids obesity because, this is his quote, your arrogance, your ignorance or both is what's giving your children the heart disease, the diabetes and the high blood pressure. It's their obesity. Don't give your kids obesity.
Host: This is a profound way of looking.
Lori Boxer: It is, it's awesome and he is right on.
Host: And guess what and the worst part is the truth.
Lori Boxer: And he right on and those are the parents whether they want to hear it or not they cannot argue with it. I am sorry. And I am going to use, I read that thing when I was sitting in front of my computer and I am going this man sounds just like me. Although, he has got the credentials. I am going to start saying that to parents when I see them in my office.
