No, I am not OCD, I have just spent last 73 hours of my life playing on my Xbox 360. I have set a new world's record for the longest time spent doing this on the dashboard, going this way and going. I am really tired, that is mind numbing entertainment. No matter, we have got a top five list submitted by Xewon, the top five mostly unknown Xbox 360 features, "Hey Chris! I have been watching the show and the videos on YouTube and I would like to suggest a list of the top five mostly unknown features of the Xbox 360," so that means if you know any of these, well then you need a life, by enlarge.
Number five, The Shut Down Feature, did you know the Xbox 360 could be shut down? I did not know that. Shut down is featured in two places on the Xbox 360, apart from turning it off from the button using a media or remote or disconnecting the power, you can shut the console down by pressing the Guide button, then going to the Personal Settings and then selecting Shut Down. The other way is holding the Guide button down for about three seconds and then selecting Shut Down.
Number four, Xbox original custom music, if you wish to listen to your music on the Xbox 360 and play an original Xbox game, all you need to do is start the music playing and then insert the game, it should then start to load the game while playing the music. The only problem is that the music from the game may still be playing, either way I know you can play your music instead of the other music that's playing during a game, I have had friends do that in such games like Geometry Wars, they got tired of the music that's played in that game.
Number three, Manual Moving Visualization, when you are listening to your music in the music player on the Xbox 360, may have seen that there is a visualization you are able to use, your right thumb stick to move and change the speed of the visualization, so there you go some interactivity.
Number two, Composites or Components, When you have the Composite or Component Cable plugged in and you switch to Standard Definition Setting, the image is produced down both cables, so you can plug the Xbox 360 into two screens. But you don't get two different images; it's the same for both. So, if you have ever wanted to have the Xbox signal split, you can do that already while your source of the Xbox 360, but one of your destinations is going to using the component cables and the other one is going to be using composite. Component are the red, green, blue and the composite cable is the little yellow cable.
So there sending a single down both cable, string things. Sorry for the overly technical explanation there. Number one, change Vision Camera effect, you can change the effect of the Vision Camera does on the dashboard background. To start with you need the Xbox 360 Vision Camera plugged into the Xbox 360. To change the effect all you need to do is press the Guide button, go to Personal Settings, then Themes, select Customize and then Camera Effect.
I always wondered about that, I didn't know that last part, so there is one thing I didn't really know about the Xbox 360 and I also didn't really know that you could have the Xbox plugged into two destinations with the same cable, the composite and component cable. Meek, thanks again, I really appreciate that, I always appreciate top five tips, Xewon.
