Hi! My name is Ashley McLean and I am Marketing Specialist for Xirrus and I just wanted to walk through a quick demo of our Xirrus array. This is actually the array itself and the one thing that makes us a little bit different is that we integrated 4, 8, 16, radios in one device and we have developed high-gain directional antennas which gives us more range, more coverage and we actually have a built-in gigabit switch, your controller and you had your security as far as your Wi-Fi threat sensor, spectrum analyzer, and encryption, everything is fully on board and say this in the end gives us more range, more coverage, more bandwidth with 75% less cabling, less devices and installation time which saves you in the end run as well.
So, what I will do is I will just go through the array and visit pieces. We designed the color just to be very initial color to make it very easy to go in and then you drop ceilings and this is actually our 8-Radio array. So you see that you have your LED lights which flash amber and green which shows your 2.4 and your 5 gigabit spectrum. Looking at the back of your array, there are four ports located on the array. The first port is your zero port which will control your CLI Interface.
You also have your 10/100 management port and then you have two gig ports as well. You also see that there are three TNC connectors and pretty much what this allows you to do is to get any kind of trouble spots that you have and that way you don't have to replace it with a whole new, you can actually just run an external antenna to cover your trouble spots and then your current supply is AC or DC or both. So we will go ahead and pack up the new array, go through the inside.
Looking at the inside of the array, and you will see that it's first of all modular designed. There are four modules located on the array itself and this actually makes it easy, because they are modulars that can pop them out. So if you looking to move to a new one in the future you can actually just replace it with an 11n radios antennas. Upgrade it on your own controller through your MPGAs and then you are good to go to replace, but a whole network access point.
You will see of course, this is our 8 radios. So you will have two radios and two antennas on each module. You will see that you had your 2.4 in your five antennas here. Also on each module you have your TNC connector, but on the fourth module you actually have your Dedicated Wi-Fi threat sensor. So when the sensors listens to ER, I am going to break it into 60 degree range. It just protects and it rotate piece that you can detect in your network and you can decide what you want to do, that either shift them and or control it that way.
You see that we had your controller, and our gigabit switch is located in the middle. This includes your main processor. You also have three MPGAs, on the 8-Radio you actually have two. You have your compact flash located here. You also have your system memory and packet memory as well. So everything is fully embedded in the array. Your encryption is also through your MPGAs as well.
Looking at the other side of the array. This is our patent design called Wi-Fi Reflector Ring and so what this does to get along with our design. Since we have multiple radios, we kind of created RF chambers that you see here with through our phone and the reflector ring so it fit this is RF Out and pushes it out to give me more range and coverage and, of course, the reflector ring will actually cover any kind of interference that you have on the inside as far as you are controlling your switch too.
Well, that's the gist of the array. If you had any more questions regarding -- few questions for you site's survey, you can either go to our website at xirrus.com or you can give us a call at 1-800-947-7871. Thank you.
