Cass Naumann: Hi! I'm Cass Naumann and I would be talking to you today about Yoga. Yoga means to yog together and in Sanskrit it means to unite. Yoga has been around number of six thousand years and about two thousand years ago. There was a guy who put into the Yoga Sutras. And since, then there had been many different types of yoga that have come into existence and many other practices today. There are unlimited benefits to practicing Yoga, which expand to the physical, mental and eventually the spiritual, if you pursue that path. It increases flexibility, increase suppleness chemistry to increase your strength and make sure you look more graceful.
Yoga also cleanses and conditions multiple internal organs systems. It can improve your digestion and also leads to mental clarity. Yoga can alleviate anxiety, emotional tension. It can also address physical elements, very specific physical elements besides as the body aches, back aches, neck aches, PMS, IBS and a variety of other elements. I feel more peaceful, and more clear hearted and really happier if you're doing it since its well being then I felt before I practice yoga.
Another focus of yoga has to do with your breathe. And with correct breathing, you improve multiple things immensely perhaps get more oxygen into the red blood cells. Also, focusing your breathing, it increases the way your heart functions as well as your lung capacity. When you're focusing your breath, you want to be sure that the inhalation and exhalation have equal duration. You will focus on the breathe to the diaphragm, so it expands fully through the kidneys and you should feel that it expand all the way down to the lower abdominals to the kidneys.
Yoga could be a benefit to absolutely anyone in a population. From children who are learning basic posture and breath control and stability and balance. up to geriatric population. Working with the same things actually keeping supplements preventing osteoporosis. For the average person, you benefit by decreasing fat around your abdominal muscles and it would help you focus your attention, stillness, and clarity. It would help you with balance, with flexibility and with a little peace of mind. Why we really call things about yoga is that you can do it in a comfort everywhere at your own home. If you like, you can just display a video from a store on the internet and practice in your own home and you don't have buy any equipment or pay any special fees to a gym.
You can use them by mat or if you like you can just lay down on a towel to practice. Now, you maybe thinking, wow! I can never do that. But yoga is the perfect answer to that because yoga will increase your flexibility everyday that you practice. Personally from me, yoga has done enormous amount of things. Certainly, to improve the quality of sleep that I get, the neck pain I used to have is virtually non-existent. When I do experienced neck pain, I go through a few yoga postures I saw on this and then took relaxation. Everything always tends to adjust itself and really feel the pain.
Next one that I show you is a few yoga asanas, a few poses, and then you got to remember, you don't start out during workout. This is probably the most basic simple yoga pose most possible start in this position. When you be in the class just being centre them becoming aware of your body and your breath. Often times, if you're more place one foot on top or some times you can place both of them on top as you sit on this pose, but that's comfortable for you, we can just sit in a regular start pose.
As some times as you can place a pillow or blanket behind you to kind of set you up a little forward to make it more comfortable in that pose. This pose is called the triangle pose. It stimulates the nervous system by digestive systems and decreases abdominal fat as well as strengthening in stretching the hamstrings and working the muscles around the knees.
I certainly experience some strength gains and as particularly my upper body and more core and my abs, more limberness, more flexibility, suppleness in my muscles, and well being. There are many different levels to yoga and having one started out as it beginner, start to beginning, just focus on your breath and go through a few basic poses. I'm just going to use two air comfortable sitting steel for a period of time. Focusing on your breath as you always stretching deeper into the stretch, and as a beginner, you just start with this. As you progress, you don't want to worry about the advance poses. They hold for a longer period of time or some times into flows.
As you progress, it'll become more and more difficult, but it's only as your body is ready in a way until you're comfortable with each position before you move on. This next pose that we're going into is called the boat pose. It teaches alignment, focus, and balance. This pose also aids in digestion. This next pose is called the table top, it strengthens our lower body and stretches the upper body. This area goes from down dark into up dark. The up dark will show them now, it helps to open up the chest and keep the neck in back, supple and healthy. I'm going to do down dark. Down dark, toes and nervous system, increases internal organs as well as strengthening the entire lower body, particularly work your lower back.
This pose down dark again from the side view, it forms a triangle, you want to reach your hands forward as far as you can stretching lower back. In the top of the triangle, you want as now as possible. From where even in the knees and elbows and going in up dark, back into down dark, and then your exhalation up dark. During the period of time at the end of yoga, we're just lying pose. We can mediate or not, I find a lot of mental clarity, answer some question that I had been intervening comes to me during those times inspiration to more creativity.
This pose is called child pose, it's optimally fetuses in the womb, it helps to stretch out the pelvis, the knees, and ankles. It also stimulates blood flow into the pelvic region, you can also do the stretch with your forehand, before and its fairly relaxing. I think yoga's because I know there is such a migration like flexibility within the second time when I practice and I found that so relaxing at the end of feel like I had a great workout and really earns my relaxation, my clarity and peace of mind. I noticed better sleep, the first night after I practice and that's really excited to take the next class.
So, it's something challenging because you're learning new poses or you're dancing and progressing with the poses that you've already learned. It's really rewarding because you're not working against anyone else, you're just trying to bet yourself and improve yourself from your practice to previous day or week by being aware and taking care of my body on a daily basis and exercising and stretching and being sure to be relaxed and yourself to be flat at the end of everyday.
I maintain plenty of self learners and mental clarity to make decisions and to cope with my everyday life. I would encourage you when you hasn't try you know to definitely check out the video or pass nearby and you can almost always try your first class for free at any certified yoga facility around the country. Its may such a profound difference and my life and my physical health and mental low being and if you're any practicing, I encourage you to just continue it as a life long process. Now more stay.
