Hi, this is called the Yoga Salute To The Sun and it is a really great all around stretching and form of exercise. One great thing about it is that you can do as many or as few as you like. If you are feeling fit and you want to even get some aerobic exercise you can do more than and you can do them faster. We can have just a few to recognize and get started with that. So, start with your feet together and you bring your palms in front of you clasped. That is the first position then you raise your hands up leaning slightly back then you come down, and if you can reach, you put your palms on the ground flat in front of you, then you stretch one leg out behind you and look up gently, then bring the other leg backwards. That is the Downward Facing Dog and then going to position on the ground, most likely pushup, then come up. Back into the Downward Facing Dog, leg back in front, feet together, palms on the ground, palms up again, palms in front. That is half of one round then you go again repeating on the other side of your body. So this time the other leg goes back, Downward Facing Dog, forward onto your arms and up, taking your weight. You can do it without touching the ground. That is great. Okay, that is one complete round. Now, as always exercise, what the key is that you don’t push your self too hard. You are not used to them if you still feel something straining when stretching, well, don’t strain it. That is, to slowly push your boundaries so you can stretch further every time. And the other thing is that you can do it slowly but from a stretching benefit before your can go faster and do more. In which case you will find you are working quite with sweat. It becomes an aerobic exercise.
