You are the Designer of your Life
Hi this is Francisco Bujan from vitalcoaching.com. We are talking about waking up your power, personal power and the topic for this video is you are the Designer of your Life.
This one is a concept or an idea that I love. I mean we can do coaching space. This is something that can give you an instant boost in life. It is to realize that you are the one who directs your existence, directs your life. What does it mean exactly? It means that there are lots of things in your existence that you might believe or think that they are out of your control and those things have to do with your thoughts, your emotions, what comes, what you come across in life and it is a very good idea to start realizing that lots of it, lot of it I mean probably 80 to 90 % it is you who is generating it, okay. Think of the example of that thought for an instance so as to the pattern or you know some form of self though that you might have in your mind. Who is having this thought, it is that simple? How is this thought appearing in your mind and you will realize that, okay I might not be inspiring but truthfully but I am the one who is creating it, right?
So once you start realizing that thoughts, it is negative self to know with negative self you will realize that if you are systematically when you are engage into a project you think, “wow I am not going to work, I have difficulties going with thee, then I already tried that before and it is was not successful so I gave up and I preferred staying at home.” This kind of negative self talk very often is carrying you I mean literally is putting you down. It is draining your energy, so what will you do you consciously choose for positive self talk.
I mean self talk is this conversation that you have in your mind about who you are and what you want to do and how people respond to you and how you respond to life, okay. So, if this positive self talk is happening in you, you are already engaging into a very positive line of or direction, okay.
So this is just an example this has to do with your mind but with your emotions this is the same kind of choices that you can make. What is sadness or what is happiness? Sometimes, yes it is something that comes into your life that you feel that you feel that you have no control but to tell you the truth once you start practicing some power boosting techniques for instance, you realize that tree or happiness level you have a very great amount control of it. You cannot influence it, you can boost your level of energy and your level of happiness, you know within 5 minutes just by practicing something. That is the kind of things you have to realize so when you realize that you are the designer of your life you are the architect of your existence, you are the one who is in charge, it means that you know you can take control. You can take direction, you can start giving your life, the purpose and the destiny that you want to have and this is not going to unfold itself in this battle, of course not. Not on the spot. You know, not instantly. It is something you have to work on consistently and keep on realizing that you are the one who is in the control seat.
Imagine that you are flying this jet right or this boarding, you know this is your life and you are the one who is in the control seat, and you are the one who decide really what happens next, what happen next and the way things happen.
The key idea when you realize that you are the architect or the designer of your life it means that you can set up directions. How many times in your life did you sit down and decide what to be set up a direction? You know, you think what is my purpose 25 years from now maybe 3 years from now? What is my short term goal? Maybe one week from now. Where I would like to be? Have you ever sit down, did you ever sit down and kind of write this down for instance do you know. If I could change one thing between now and next week, what would that be? Okay, this is a key coaching question, right? What would that be? If there is one element, one new element you can bring in your life between now and next week. Which one would that be?
Okay, once you identify with this element is, focusing on it first realizing what this is then starting to focus on it? It is going to make a huge change, right? And then you start taking consistent steps so that you can get where you want to be, okay. So again when you realize that you are the designer of your life, you are the architect, you are the one who is plotting your existence then take control and realize that yes, you are the one who is the greatest influence of what is happening in your existence.
