Hi I am Steve Turano and welcome to this issue of Body Performance. I started this website because I want to separate fact and fiction and help people really understand how weight loss occurs. I am going to give you a little topic right now.
You do not eat too much. How can I say that? Let me explain. You may be overweight but you are not over eating, here is why. When you overeat you gain weight rapidly, quickly, you see it instantly, 5 pounds in a week. Like when you are on a vacation. You go to the smoothie bar. You go to that midnight buffet and you gain weight rapidly. That occurs when you overeat but normal weight gain happens slowly, imperceptibly, like getting wrinkles. It sneaks up on you, you don’t even realize it. So you may be overweight but you do not overeat because you overate and you gain 5 pounds a week. That would be 250 pounds you’ve gained in a year and most people aren’t that overweight, 20, 30, maybe 40 pounds overweight.
So you may not be eating healthy but you do not overeat. Stick around for some additional movies on weight loss and fitness.
