Hi. This is Andy with EarMall.com and in this review we’re going to look at the Ziga, ZGDV 71 by ReSound. ReSound is a Dutch company, they also own Beltone. The Ziga is comparable to Beltone products except its much, much lower cost.
The Ziga is a mid level digital programmable and I really, really like this product. I have fit a lot of folks with this and I’ve never really had any complaints. No one has ever returned them. It’s the same exact circuit as the ears it just doesn’t have the bells and whistles. It’s exactly the same as the Dot 10 by ReSound which is comparable to the Marc by Beltone.
Right here we have it configured an open fit. It will accommodate the loss up to 30 dB of 250 and 500 hertz. Above that, it will go all the way to about 75 dB.
You can also configure it with a fit two with a custom ear mode. This will accommodate anyone all the way down to about 90 dB across the board. I’ve never had any complaints with the fitting on these. They are great when it comes to feedback issues. They measure the inside of your ear so they detect where air leaks in and it really stops. You don’t really get the whistle. You get sort of a warble, that kind of noise.
It has great noise reduction. It has GN ReSound’s patented noise tracker. This hearing aid will actually trap noise created by moving object that it circles around your inner ear. It will lock on to that and lower that sound as it moves around the room.
It’s a great hearing aid and it’s a great value. It’s more of your mid level price and it’s easy to put it and it disappears and that is the Ziga by ReSound. Please tune in to EarMall.com for other reviews.
