Welcome to instructables TV. My name is Ed, I am going to be showing you a quick and simple and fun Zippo trick. No, it's not about flipping anything around, but it will pretty much amaze your friends, and anybody can do it. Let's see.
We have one Zippo lighter. Now just open it up, light it up. Now, steal the flame away with your hand. Hold it, hold it, and then, there you go. Back in air, back in action, that's what I do.
So how to do it? All you do is you take one lighter, you open it up, and now the wick is going straight up, but you want the wick to be going like this. So just take your pinky, and push it over to the side, so that now the wick has a nice good curve to it.
So the trick is the flame never actually leaves the lighter. The flame just gets a lot smaller.
So down here is the flame. You take away the flame, but its still burning down here below, caught underneath the curved wick. So now, with any bit of air movement, air goes in, flame comes back.
Alright. So basically, because like wind is the factor, you always want to be doing this trick indoors. So you are just going to light it up, go there. If you want to, help you out, get hold of a slight angle coming this way. This will help to trap the flames, especially if you are starting out to do the trick.
Now, all you have to do is shake it, the flame comes back. So now, to bring the flame back, you can either put it back with your hand, or if you want to, you can --
