Zombieville USA - Application Review. Hey guys what is up? I got another app review for you guys here. Two of them are going to be paid apps, two of them are going to be free apps. For the paid ones, we are going to be doing Zombieville USA, one in the more popular applications in the app store right now and in the other paid applications going to be called Blocked, pretty popular app as well, very simple ideas on both of them. So hang on tight to that. You guys will be able to see those views but let’s start review off with application called Tube Runner Lite. There is a paid version and I would not recommend it. I believe that it is trying to sort of copy Cube Runner. It is kind of little bit of similarities between them but anyway you are greeted with a little main menu here. And here you have your current score, your high score. You have two different methods of control. You have tilt and touch. I would do touch because the tilt control is nearly impossible to actually maneuver with. Your music, you can turn on and off along the sound in different volumes and you can do upgrade it to Tube Runner. Don’t click that because this app is not what I would buy. But anyway, let us start this one out. Very simple, so you got a pretty iffy look to it, I mean there are a lot of colors, lots of spinning at 120 start but it doesn’t look too fantastic actually. It looks kind of annoying, kind of a cheaper application. You can definitely tell that they put in too much time on to this. So here we go, started in my walls are going to start spinning. So, your object is basically just to go and avoid all these little black rectangles on the ground, a very simple idea. But with the terrible controls included in the application, you are really not want to play this too long. The only way that I’ve actually been able to survive and or not completely want to break this application that would be using the touch controls. You can try the tilt controls with using the accelerometer but I think it’s impossible to actually maneuver with that. But as you can see, the application is not too fast paced, kind of boring. There is music in the background which is supposed you got a more of a toned outer space feeling to it but really not that great of an application and the music can’t really save it form that terrible plunge that it is trying to get you into. So I think it is worthy at least checking out the application. It’s got a little bit of a fun spiny idea to it but it’s not really not an application that I would go out and buy. The Lite version is definitely what I recommend checking out but you have actually pay money for this, not sure if you want or not. So that is called Tube Runner Lite a free app from the app store. Next what I have from you guys is popular one as well. I'm going to have to zoom out for this. So, the next one I have for you guys is called Shotgun Free. There is a paid version of this. If you buy the paid version, there is more weapons in it. But pretty simple idea, pretty cool idea too. It’s from the volume app because it is a sound application. So, you have instructions and you have launch Shotgun. Now let’s launch it. Very simple idea, so we have a shotgun right here, it’s unloaded so just the same motions of a shotgun. What you do, cock down, cock up, turn it. So once you see sometimes you might have few problems with it but that only if you're an idiot and you don’t know how actually work it like me. So, I think it is fun to have at least mess around with it. Let’s tilt the camera back down. That is called Shotgun Free. It’s one of the free options of the apps for obviously. There is a paid version, includes more guns so you get more sound effects, more animations that you can actually do but it’s definitely fun to go check out the free version called Shotgun Free. It is a free app from the app store that is a fun to mess around and go check that one out. Next what I have for you guys, one of them is called Sway Lite also a free app from the app store. I completely forgot about this one. So, Sway has a paid version at the app store. It’s kind of gets its name around. It’s kind of getting up there. It might be on a paid application that will be top leader board pretty soon but I'm not a 100% sure about that because I am not too amazed with it. Very simplistic design and fantastic graphics are pretty much keeping this application alive. Game play is a little bit more rough and I’d like it to be. It’s not as easy as I like it to be. Now it’s easy to walk through in the first couple of levels but it’s not terrible. So what you do is you use anywhere on the screen, use right thumb to sway your little frog character on this wall and then you just simply would just let go and I died. So, you have to sway and let go and then hitting your right finger again, that what catches you. And I wish this bubble would get out of the way. So if you want to, let’s try to catch myself from my red. Okay. So, that is how it is. Here on your left hand, using your left thumb you are going to be swinging and you are going to catch yourself on your red hand. You’re left hand on the frog. If you swing, let go use your right hand, your right thumb. Then you will be swinging, catching yourself with your right arm. So it’s pretty simplistic design but it’s really not too amazing when application that I wouldn’t go out and spend some money on it. And especially guys it’s not a ¢99 application. As you can see here, I suck. So that is not really why I am giving it the negative feedback on it. But it just seems like it’s an application that really wouldn’t have too much to offer really. As you guys see, it has fantastic graphics. And swinging around on this little wall is really a pretty fun experience to try it around at least for the first couple of times. It’s got some pretty good physics engine built into it. But honestly, it’s the game play that I don’t think is going to make this application one on the top on the leader boards. It’s not too amazing game play, it’s not as much fun of an application as I would like it to be especially because it is higher price tag. So if you want to, I would definitely recommend going to check out the Lite version. It’s called Sway Lite. But the paid version is not something that I would go out and pay for. I won’t be doing a review on the paid version. It’s not too fantastic of an application for me. Man, I use that word too much. Anyway, that is called Sway Lite, a free app from the app store. Go check out the paid version if you enjoy that. Next up that I have for you guys is called Blocked. This one I just recently fell in love with. It is a free app from the app store. I will go to the first level and show you how simple it is. What we do is we are this little paper world design. Its got great graphics really. It’s just simple graphics, it’s just simple paper graphics and it shows all applications and games. You don’t need to have 3D stunning, lighting effects to have fantastic graphics. This is a simplistic design, it look here on paper like a school paper, grid paper something like that. The shading effects makes the blocks fun, interesting as simple as that we just beat the level. So, pretty simple idea as you guys see. You have to get this blue block from the left side of the screen to this hole over here. There is a hole on the right side. And by doing that, you have to tilt these gray blocks in the direction that they are facing. So example, this blocks can’t go sideways. They have to go vertical since they are facing vertical or just as easy as that same with the horizontal blocks. So very simple as you guys see. At the top of the screen it shows what level you are on. It is difficult to you in what not as you progress to the entire 40 level set there are I think there are 40 or 30 levels. I think 40. You have different difficulty levels. Down at the bottom, if move something, you want to click reset. There we go, back to how it was. Go to a few levels design. You can go through these, your difficulties once you earn them. Help will explain the level and just as easy as that. You can switch from level to level for the ones you have completed. And you can also go on to the tougher levels to play but I like going on order. I don’t know that is pretty much the entire review that I can give for these game guys. It is a really simple application but it’s really fun. Let’s go to the top levels, there is only 20. How awful was I? All right, so there is 20 levels right now in the easy mode. By now as you guys see a crap load more of different difficulty levels once you have actually unlock them. So there is a lot of levels packed into this small application. It’s only ¢99 called Blocked. I’d go and check it out. It’s a really fun one, definitely I’d pick up and play anywhere kind of application. I’d recommend that to anybody with an iPhone and iPod Touch. Next app that I have for you guys, I want to do this app as much justice as possible because I love it. It’s called Zombieville USA, a really great application. I believe it’s surprisingly only ¢99. And when they are asking for such a low price tag, I would definitely recommend to go check this on out. So, you start off with little main menu. Pretty simple, you kind of don’t know what you are getting yourself into. How to play, you can’t click that and I’ll explain it all for you. Options will also give you a little bit more of a customizations, you can do difficulty. But that is it really. New game, but if you already played the game, then you will have records with the number of zombies you’ve killed in one mode and then also the level that you achieved. If you cancel out of a game mid-way through without quitting or saving anything that you can’t save, when you are welcomed back into this application right here, it will say continue games. You can continue your game right from the level that you just finished at. So anyway, let’s go in a new game and I will try to explain it really simple for you guys. So loading screen aren’t terrible there is a quite a few of them only right here but they aren’t really that long enough or too lengthy. But as you guys see, this graphics are just awesome. Some of my favorite graphics I’ve seen so far in any application. There is already a lot of zombies trying to get to me. So as you can see, zombies will just randomly come out of the ground and your object is to kill them with any weapon that you have on your hand. You start of with a pistol but as levels progress, you are able to power up or I don’t know. Suit up your weapon to archery, archives. I don’t know what I am trying to say. You can buy more weapons once you get money and you get money from going at the houses. That worked out. Or you can have money from killing zombies and these little houses on the side, you go into a house and it will either give you ammo for a specific gun or you will get money. Up at the top, your it will show your bullets, the number that you have, your health bar right there, Pause Menu so you can click pause if you will like and then your money. A very simple setting as you guys -- there’s a lot of zombies getting me. Usually they are not that many in this first level. Anyway, as you guys see, what you need to do is simply just walk with the right arrow or the left arrow. And then by tapping the middle bar between them, that will shoot any zombie in the direction that you are facing. So, it has a pretty easy design, not too many problems with this application. It’s pretty too. I was trying to get to the end of the level so you can see what you can actually power up. The only problem that I had so far with this app here – I will try and show you right now is when you walk pass the zombie, you only have bullets. So example, let’s say that I have ran out of ammo, by trying to get this guy I have to walk through all of their beatings. There is no melee switch so I have to walk through and just get the crap beat out of me and that can be pretty big problem especially if you ran out of ammo. So if as you ran out of ammo and you only have a little bit of health left, you are pretty much getting yourself ready just to die. So as you guys see be nice to the added in like a hack of your weapon or the body of your gun but there is really no melee attacks and you are just relying on all your bullets. So as we got to the end of this level not too much money because I skipped the last few monsters so you can buy a new weapon. There is a dual pistols, like a bigger pistol. I bought a shotgun and that thing is sweet. I also – you can buy health which will fill up your health bar and that is pretty much it. Now we are progressing on to the next level. All of the levels have the same designs as you will see right here. We are outside and it is night time there is just a bunch of houses on the side. And just tap on the door, go inside, pick up pretty much we are just stealing whatever is there. I guess there in home and all zombies trying to kill me. But anyway, it is a really sweet application. The game play is fantastic, very simple game play and such fun. That’s what makes great application. They’re simple and amazingly fun. I definitely recommend this to anybody out there, one of the apps that I am actually recommended to anybody out there Blocked I will recommend them to most people if you like puzzler games. These games is also a pick up and play anywhere but it is also nice to just to sit down for a little bit and relax by killing a bunch of zombies after a rougher day. So I will recommend that application, it’s a fun one called Zombieville USA a fantastic app. 99 cents from the app store, I will definitely recommend that one- go check it out. I am not going to say yes but they might have just released a Lite version for that. So if they have, go check it out if not hopefully that review did a justice because I love that application it will be on my top five apps and the end of this little 10 application review if you know what I am talking about. It’s in my top five applications. I love it, it’s a great app it’s called Zombieville USA go check it out. Sorry guys this review is little bit shakier.
