Welcome to Body Rock TV. In today's episode I am going to give you a little tour of my home gym. One of the things that I want to do with Body Rock is to show people that they can have good quality and intensive workout at their home without buying expensive equipments and stuff like that. I have set up my home gym very inexpensively with very basic equipments and I can do really good workout. So let me show you what I have here.
So I have this piece of equipment from my home gym. This bench cost me just 20 bucks, I got it in a garage sale and then I think you can do the same thing if you look at eBay or if you have garage sales in your neighborhood. It's kind of little bit rough but I don't mind if there are some holes in it. I kind of at least fix it with a black tape that is going to be fine. This bar I just got is new, so it cost more than the bench, about 25 bucks and I got this small curl bar, I don't have much space here as you see, so I can't put here like big bars. But this is fine, because I can have whole body workout just with this curl bar and I have some weights on it, I have five pounds and 10 pounds on each side which is just fine for me right now. I am not that stronger. As I get stronger I am going to add more weight on this one.
So let me show what else I have here. If you remember earlier episode of Body Rock I have been using this power tube a lot and now in the next four months I am going to using it again and I am going to hook it on the stairs here and I am going to have great workout. This is a regular skipping rope we can get it for five bucks. Now this is hula hoop, I haven't used it yet and I tried it I am not really good at it. This is a Balance Ball and it's a very good piece of equipment, very basic and you can do a lot of workouts with this one. I get one of its spikes and it's massaging me. This is a yoga mat I have seen these for 100 bucks and I have seen also mats for like 200 bucks. I don't know what is the difference, it's only just a brand. You don't really need anything fancy for your yoga practice, and I have weights for my legs and pair of dumbbells, there are just three pounds. And the most expensive from all this equipment is this medicine ball because it's a very good brand, I am not going to tell you which one because they are not paying me.
Some thing that I really enjoy is my music. I have this iPod speaker here, when I turn the music on the whole workout just goes by faster. So that's a good thing to have and then I have my pole that I am using also for strength training, I don't have much space here much room but I still can fit here thus pole and all this. It's just - a little corner and it are perfectly fine for my home workout.
So if you are serious about working out you don't even need all this equipment, all you need is motivation and your own discipline. You can add all this stuff little by little you can have your eyes open for very good deals and set up your home gym. So thank you for watching and I will see you next time on Body Rock TV.
