Sarina Jain I am here at with Alicia at Circus School LA, How it is going?
Alicia: Welcome.
Sarina Jain Tell us what is the class all about?
Alicia: Well, Circus School LA in composes body mind, circus works so basically you are going to take the principles of what it means to train as a professional aerialist which is my background. I am in circus in LA and I trained as an aerialist and also did their polities injury prevention program. Our program here is very integrated into how to use your body wisely into you are going to be with just get into extreme movements as you did mean hang, high cool ups on the bar which you are really going to be using your mind to help you. So, instead of hanging out of joint you are going to be in joint. You are going to be very body conscious so you do not hurt yourself. Doing funny risky things as you are taking upside down. You are inverting yourself.
Sarina Jain You obviously love what you do.
Alicia: Oh yes. And just even feel like a workout. For me, I mean if a lots of workout I would not be here. It feels like more artistic expression and then the workout issues that added on them.
Female 1: Oh my God. I love it. I have been obsessed for about a year and a half now. I started knowing absolutely nothing. I had no trainings and over the first year and a half I built up strength and the real passion for the circus art that I never knew I had. I had a fiancé and it is been a real surprise.
Male 1: What I love about the class, it is a healthy addiction. It is an addiction but it is a healthy addiction.
Male 2: There is this beautiful sort of joy that sort of spirit of play that I cannot find anywhere else. I have done rock climbing, sky diving, scuba diving, surfing, you name it. It is about everything. This is the thing.
