Firefox extensions or add-ons are excellent ways to add utility to your browser. Go to the Mozilla.com page and click on extensions in the upper right. In the new page, click on Firefox add-ons. This is going to take you to a third page that will allow you to click on the tab extensions at the very top to find extensions for your web browser. The page that loads allows you to browse by category, all the extensions or utilities that you might add to your web surfing browser. In addition, you can browse on the right hand side, very popular extensions as well as ones that are recently updated. A final way is to search for extensions and that is in the upper right.
One of the extensions that I highly recommend it tab browsing. That adds extra utility and extra functions to the different tabs or windows that you can open while surfing the web. The easiest ways to type and tab browsing and quick go. That will bring you to a new webpage and once you are in that tab browsing search window webpage. If you scroll down, let us go down the page, the link one is tab browser preferences. Click on that, it is open a new window and to install this extension all you have to do is click on the install now for windows. Finally, click on the install button and it will put it in your browser.
I would like to automatically record blogs or RSS feeds. The two are used for Firefox’s live lines so if you type livelines in the search box in quick go, that will take you to a webpage within firefox that will allow you to download the livelines extension like the others, you click on the install now for windows and it will open a new window up and all you have to do to install the program is click on install now, which is at the bottom.
The final extension for Firefox that I like to demo is the delicious extension. To get the delicious extension, go to delicious website which you can see at the homepage if you go to the right hand side of the screen and click on help. That will take you to a new window and within that help window at the very center of the screen, underneath browser is a Firefox extension. Click on that link, which will open a new window that will allow you to download the Firefox extension. I am going to click on the install version 1.1 now, which will open a second window which should look familiar and you click on install now.
