how to Make a Picture Look Like A Painting in Photoshop

Hey YouTube, today I’m going to show you guys another cool trick you could do with Adobe Photoshop, now this trick, what its basically going to do is give it, give any normal picture really cool painting effect, it’s going to make any normal picture look like a painting, so yeah, let’s get started.
Right here I have a picture of a baby, I’ve got it from Google images, the reason I chose this is just because the file size was big, the picture was big, so it gives it more detail and you guys could see it better.
So first thing you have to do, just create or duplicate the background layer, click OK, and then make sure you have the background copy the duplicated layer selected, and then go to filter, blur, gushing blur, and just blur it to where it’s not too blurred but blurred enough and then just go to the layer type and change it to darken and it gives it a really cool painting effect. This works better with some pictures than other pictures but it does give it a cool painting effect either way, so yeah, try it out, see if it works what your dust bite, yeah have fun with it, hope you guys learned something today and goodbye.
