Alright guys, I am going to teach you how to make a Scarface Poster poster with your portrait on it. So to begin, we go to File, Create New and from the Preset choose, 800x600, click on that OK.
Now this is what we are going to do, I am going to close this. Make the window a little bit bigger, take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and go from about wherever you feel the middle is, click and drag to one side. We'll now go to Edit, make sure you have Black selected over here, go to Edit, Fill, Foreground Color, OK.
I am going to deselect that, open the picture that you want to have on the poster, which you just saw, we'll just drag it in there. Now comes the, say the most, kind of, like the hardest part of the tutorial, where you have to view as extract yourself from this picture. That means the Polygonal Lasso Tool, click on that, and you start, you just basically click around your face, or what other object you are trying to extract, try and get a good general idea of what you are trying to get over there.
Now if at anytime you make a mistake like that, like oops! you press the delete key, automatically goes back to the previous point, very easy and you just click wherever you -- try and get a rough estimate of, it doesn't have to exact and got that.
Now Ctrl+C to copy it, Ctrl+C copied it, go on to here, Ctrl+V to paste it. We'll get down a little, maybe to the center. Now all you have to is go to Image, Adjustments and Threshold, click on that, you got the threshold level, just play along with the slider, whatever you feel like is best, I want to go with this, 101 and then hit OK.
So there you have it, that's a very simple way of making a Scarface Poster with your portrait on it.
