This review of iKoto is brought to you by AppVee.com. iKoto is an app for the iPhone that allows you to play a Japanese Koto directly on our iPhone. Besides just playing which ever chords you like there are a few other functions, you can play a recorded demonstration or you can record your own music and play it back anytime you like. The app actually saves the last thing you have recorded so if you close the application and come back it is still there.

While iKoto is very different than the normal bass and guitar apps that we have seen come out it is still cost. Unfortunately non of the music that you record can be sent off the device onto your computer or anything else. You will have to do a line out to get it over there. This is an interesting app but the fact that it cost makes it something that you probably would not end up checking out.
