This is the Texas Hold ‘em. This is available in the App Store for $4.99. When I first got this application and I tried to open it, it immediately closed. What I did was I turned my iPod Touch off by holding down the power button up here and sliding to turn off. It kind of turned off. I pushed the power button again and I waited for it to turn back on. I relaunched the application and it worked great.
So this game has some pretty good graphics. Let me show you the help screen so we get help from the interface. So, we have the dealer, we have the pot. This are your chips and your cards. This is your opponent. This is the dealer or the blind button and to that wheel. We got the community cards and the winning hand. For our controls, so to fold, you drag your cards to the pot. To bet, you touch your chips. And then to go all-in, you drag your chips to the pot. To change your bet, touch and slide the bet wheel and then catch the confirm or cancel. You can touch the pot to see what the total is. Just to check, you can double tap the table just like in poker. To see the blinds, you touch the dealer. To see the opponent, you can see their via or their stats by touching them. And then, to pause the game at any time, you can touch any two corners of the screen.
This game also has multi player. This supports up to nine players which is just awesome. And, it tested this so I don’t know if there is a lag. And then, how stable that is. This is what beats what. And also, it keeps track of the statistics in the games you are playing, how many times you got first, second or third, what your best hand was, the biggest pot you have ever won, what your total winnings are and you can clear them at any time.
We are going to our settings, we have to overlay these prompts. We could turn the vibrate on or off which is automatically off for me since I am on iPod Touch. And then, you can turn the game music on or off. That is controlled in volume of the music and the sound effects.
I am going to show you a little bit of the game mode. You see, we have different locations. Of course, let us go to Vegas. Looking good Vegas. We are going to go in the garage.
So of course, the more money you gain, the higher you can get. I will say that those graphics are very awesome. So, you are calling at 20. And then, touch your chips and then confirm to call. All-in. These are some good graphics. I will imagine that in multiplayer. I am sure I want one. If you imagine the multiplayer, you get to pick which character you are.
And I won. Awesome. He tried to bluff me. Take that. So, we are going to call. He wants to raise a hundred. And fold, fold, fold, fold…
I don’t know. I am scared. So, I have three of a kind right now. This is our bet wheel. I will bet 450 and then confirm. He folds and then you get the pot. This is a premier Texas Hold ‘em game. With iPod Touch, I got just impressed by these graphics. I can only imagine what the multiplayer is like.
So, as you can tell, iTouch, the two corners and that brings you up to the menu. You can go to resume game, you can go to the main menu and you can go to the multi player. Here in multiplayer, we are waiting for more players. I imagine that this is local. I doubt that this is over the internet. So, I am just going to wait for an amount of time. As you can tell, you can also go into an overhead mode which will give you a view of everybody and what they are at. And then, that is the Texas Hold ‘em game.
