This is Trism. This game is available in the App Store for $4.99. I assume that you might have seen this debut in Installer which is the third party application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It was only a demo and since then, he has been working on a full game. So, you can go to options where you can turn the color blind mode on or off. We can have our sound effects on and off. We can actually wipe all of the local data from the game. You can go into your account and you can see your top score.
This game has achievements much like the Super Mario Bros. or Xbox live which the developer has been working. I find it kind of cool. Very cool actually. And, there are different modes. They have the tutorial mode, infinism which is basically the standard mode, terminism and syllogism. What I will show you is the infinism game. We will start a new game. So, this might remind you of bejeweled except instead of a square block, it is using triangles. As I turn, you can see the arrow moved down so that when I found a match. So, if you match up three or more blocks, they will disappear. And whichever direction the accelerometer is in, that is the direction that it would drop in. So, they are going to slide on that one which is good because it is very strategic. You can fill them up like that. You can hold pieces and move them and then let go in case you want to get certain pieces in this way and not the other way. You can move them from left to right and you can move them on the diagonals. Like that.
It’s got a timer at the bottom. It’s got your high score at the bottom. This are one of those puzzle games, kind of like bejeweled but it makes you think a little more. At least in my own, it makes me think a little more because you got to use the certain angles and you got to turn them this way and just add some more strategy to it which I am. You can see how it has changed. This had three trism chain.
So, there is that quit button for some reason where you can just escape out. And like I said before when I ran into that game, I could just continue that game next time. Terminism is a race against the clock. You must make matches or suffer the consequences. So, it has a clock that counts down. The more you take the match, the more the compass will fade. You can bring the yellow to red so watch out. So, this puts you in the hot seat. It makes it a little bit harder to think. It adds another element of surprise to the game which I like. If you are not into puzzle games, then this would not be your game.
