So today, we are going to be reviewing the iPod Touch Second Generation. As you can see, it is pretty bright, the HomeScreen right here and the brightness turned up all the way but besides that we will start with the external first.
So I have a lot of lining here. So it is hard to see but we got the home button down here, you have a nice 3.5” LCD screen and very, very big. Pull it to the back, nice and lot silver or call them whatever you want to call it. I will finish to it. On the bottom, you got your 30.2 USB adapter and then you got your audio.
The newer features in that 2G model is as little valuable control rocker thing. Now unlike many other volume rocker, this is not a roll like you do not roll it with your finger. You got to physically press down to change your volume and if you press down pretty hard and when I first I made that thing that so stupid like I want making it difficult for people to range and lower the volume but the more you use it, you will realize it is made to prevent you accidentally changing the volume. So this is a very, very good idea.
From the top, you got your hold button right there, so let us get it and turn it on. Let us unlock it. So here is my HomeScreen or Home Center whatever you want to call it. So this is our website Zalfo.com, check this out. Anyways, I am not going to lock it to every single app I have on here, but that one in particular is called banner, I believe it is 99 cents, there is a free version though.
So here you go, you have all your tip call, expected applications like your calendar, your Safari, you can do some web browsing real quick, you can view an idea. A good thing about the landscape now is that it works should both ways, right. So here is a regular or portrait mode and then you got landscape and notice you can do it the other way you too. It looks very cool. It is not limited to only one side.
So if here is your keypad. So obviously this uses a Wi-Fi. Here we are in Alison.com. So it looks pretty well, you can use the touchscreen to scroll through it. Just click on a link.
Well it is pretty quick, images come up pretty well. I am going to put this on YouTube. I do not know, just wondering how YouTube works on here. YouTube videos are automatically played in an Escape Mode, so I wish I can video here and I had no idea what this is, here you go.
Escape mode, it is taking a bit longer than in YouTube. I am sure that YouTube tells us about it. I mean that is where you would expect when you watch on YouTube videos. Same quality, it is very fluid, there is no lag or a delay. So here right at the Home Center. I know you got your app store. I will use Safari. Music, music is pretty cool. You can fit to your albums. Here is the portrait mode again and it is called landscape and it allows you to fit through all your albums.
And notice that you do not have to hold down on the screen like you can flick it, so that is pretty cool. I do not have any videos on here at the moment, so I cannot really tell you how those worked out, but I can imagine there a lot like the YouTube videos. So here we got photos, here are some applicants for our Zalfo.com give away. It is kind of difficult to see, but you can zoom in on things. That is pretty cool.
You zoom out, let us move on. I wonder if you can do landscape mode, but I know you can. I did not know that. It tells us where the pictures go and that is about it and it works very well. Sorry about this music thing, it keeps coming up. And as far as the iPod Touch goes that is about it. I forgot to tell you guys about the integrated speaker, that is a new feature in the 2G Model 2. I believe that it is great, somewhere located down right here because when you play a video and you have the speaker enabled, you can actually feel vibrations coming from the bottom down here so it is safe to say that it is located down there.
So iPod Touch, very slim, good design, you got a lot finger prints on the back, very easily smudge as you can see through and reflected and very shiny so you can expect that. Oh, the thing is still running. That is int
