Hey everybody how is it going? I am Jared Reitzin, I am the CEO of a company called mobileStorm that they set up in Los Angeles and you can check us out in the web we are at mobilestorm.com and what we provide is a very easy to use web based digital marketing platform for businesses so that they can ultimately make more money. They can use our software to build a database of customers and potential customers and then market to them over a various devices or means such as an email; wireless text messaging, your cell phones; voice and fax broadcast; and create and deliver RSS feeds. So, we have been around a little over eight years and pretty much we built the company from the ground up it is totally self-funded and we rose a little bit of friends and family money but not much at all.
And, actually this week we announced that we close a serious area of funding with a venture group at Colorado named Eon Business and they really understand software as a service which is really the market that we are in, so we are very excited to be with them and we are very excited to have found them because we are trying to raise money as an entrepreneur is not an easy thing for a couple of reasons: First is you really have a really good pitch and you have to say it in ten powerpoint slides. It took me a long time and my team a long time to really define and figure out who we are and really get our pitch down, that is the first thing that we had to accomplish. Second thing after that is you have your pitch, you know, you really have to approve your business model in one way or another and that kind of wrapped your pitches well but, you know, we have to eventually go out there and build the business and we eventually have revenues and customers and we really improved the model. And the third thing is you have to find the right investor because there are tons of different types of venture firms out there and finding the right one is the hard part because some might be about biotech, some might only do stuff for oil companies, and so we found a company that really fits in line with who we are in our customers and so I am really excited to announce that.
And, we are going to use this funding to grow ourselves in marketing and put the money into R&D to make our products and services better.
