Hey, I’m Shawn from Sprinkler Daddy and in this video I just wanted to talk to you about a couple of different options that we’ve got with our manifold for your sprinkler system. We’ve got two different options, one is for your in-ground system, we’ve got a swivel manifold which we use just single T’s and elbows so that each zone can be taken apart whenever you need it. So, if you need to—or if one zone is damaged or something and you need to make a change or make a replacement or something in your manifold, you can juts screw that part and it comes apart really easy.
The other option that we have is the same type of thing but it’s a solid unit with just the T on the end. So, this is a three-zone manifold. We’ve got a two-port manifold with an elbow on to make three zones and basically with this one, you’re gonna have less connections, less swivel connections so there’re less opportunities for leaks. Sometimes with the swivel system, it’s good for future for repairs but if you’re in the ground and your pies kinda shift a little bit on you, sometimes you can loose connection with the O-rings and you can get a little bit of leakage if they’re not just right. So, they can be a little bit more finicky than these guys. But if you have troubles with one zone on these, you’re gonna have to replace the whole thing because they’re all connected obviously.
So, if it was my yard, I’d probably go with the full two-port manifold and an elbow just because it’s gonna have less opportunities for leakage but I guess down the road, if you’re looking at repairs and stuff, the swivel system is something that you might wanna look at.
